Simon Rutte, founder of Rutte Distillery, celebrated the first "Koningsdag" back in 1885 (it was actually "Princessday" back then). Since then this year marks the 133rd time Rutte has watched proud Dutchmen and Dutchwomen turn the Netherlands into a sea of orange. To commemorate the festivities we've hand bottled 133 Royal Dutch Negronis, blending Rutte Celery Gin, Rutte's orange bitter, and white vermouth to make a balanced contemporary cocktail that's fit for a King. Serve over ice, or top with champagne for a fitting toast to this uniquely 'Dutch'' celebration.
